Will any of the Premier League Teams win the Champions League this Season?
There are still two rounds of Champions League matches remaining, but the Premier League teams all have a chance of qualifying for the knock-out rounds. Can any of the English sides go all the way and win the competition?
Arsenal are in the best form of all the Premier League teams, winning all their matches so far and sitting on top of the Champions League group with a perfect record of six matches and six wins.
Manchester City are in fourth place in the table after four wins, a draw and a surprise defeat at home to Bayer Leverkusen.
Liverpool, Tottenham and Newcastle are the most at risk of missing out on the knock-out rounds but there is still everything to play for for these three teams.
Liverpool are on 12 points and one place outside the automatic qualification spots, despite being level on points with Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid and Inter Milan. Tottenham are a point further back, and Newcastle another point back. All three sides will have the fallback of the play-off round if they finish between 9th and 24th in the table.
Can an English Side win the 2026 Champions League?
Arsenal are the favourites to win the Champions League this season, according to thatsagoal and the latest betting odds. Mikel Arteta's side are clear at the top of the Premier League and three points ahead at the top of the Champions League. He might even have the luxury of resting players for some Premier League matches as we get to the business end of the Champions League, if the likes of Manchester City and Aston Villa continue to drop points.
Arteta's side are absolutely solid from a defensive viewpoint but they do sometimes struggle to break sides down in the league, especially those who sit back and defend. This won't happen as much in Champions League matches, though, and the better opposition might bring out even more improvement in Arteta's attacking players.
However, having never won the Champions League before, they might lack the experience to get through the gruelling knock-out matches if they come up against one of Europe's elite sides.
Winning this competition is something that is not alien to Liverpool, and with the famous Anfield atmosphere behind them for the home legs of the knock-out matches (if they qualify), you wouldn't want to bet against them going far in the competition. They will need some luck in the draw to avoid the likes of PSG and Bayern Munich, but anything is possible at Anfield. Mo Salah is back from AFCON, and if he is to leave in the summer, it would be a fitting goodbye if he could lift the Champions League trophy one more time.
Newcastle and Tottenham will do well to qualify for the knock-out rounds and face a vital couple of matches as they try to secure a place in the top 8. You would have to fancy Newcastle to go further than Tottenham in the tournament if Thomas Frank keeps his job. There is unrest at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with the recent results and performances causing fans to get on the manager's and players' backs after matches. Spurs face two tough matches to conclude the group stages - Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt.

Who will win the 2026 Champions League?
If I were to place a bet on the Champions League, my money would be going on Bayern Munich at this point. They have been sensational domestically and Harry Kane continues to bang in goals and break records. It remains to be seen if their defence will hold up against world-class opposition, but their forward players are capable of outscoring anybody in Europe.
